2010 Fall Internship – Video Post Production

ASSEMBLY (www.assemblypix.tv) is seeking a well-rounded film / video / communications student for a fall internship. We are a growing production / post company located in Manayunk. This internship is a great opportunity to work hands-on in a dynamic, small team environment, and make immediate impact. The ideal candidate will be able to wear multiple hats … assistant editing, production assistant, office assistant. Working side by side with our creative & administrative team, this is great training ground for a young, energetic, creative self-starter.

Requirements: The Candidate MUST -
• Be currently enrolled in a four year college or graduate program in a related field that requires an internship for credit.
• Have a thorough working knowledge of Final Cut Studio
• Have a good understanding of video production
• Have excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
• Be friendly, reliable, open to learning.
• Have the ability to take initiative during blocks of “down time”, and to run with assignments without step by step instructions at every stage.

Special consideration for candidates possessing any or all of the following skills:
• Web design / development knowledge
• Working knowledge of Adobe CS Production Suite
• Motion graphics expertise
• Long-form / documentary production and editing experience or interest
• Experience / understanding with various digital media formats (P2, Sony XDCAM, DSLR Video, etc)
• Video camera work / still photography experience.

Interactive Developer

Location: University City

Smaller-sized marketing firm seeking a full-time interactive designer/developer. The position includes the following responsibilities:

* Producing high-quality websites which feature Flash, JavaScript and database interactivity.
* Developing interactive multimedia using Flash.
* Developing medium/large scale web applications.
* Project managing the development of websites and online systems, including interacting with and supervising other team members.
* Offering advice and innovative solutions to the technical challenges of our clients.
* Setting up web hosting for multiple clients as well as setting up DNS.
* Participating in sales and business development meetings to provide technical insight and advice and assist in determining project scope.
* Ensuring technical information is accurate and complete in proposals and other documents.

Qualifications
Candidates for this position must possess the requisite technical skills and demonstrated ability to handle all of these responsibilities, plus have a strong design and artistic sensibility and the ability to work as part of a demanding team that always seeks to deliver innovative, unique and high-quality solutions to our growing list of clients.

* Extensive knowledge and experience hand coding HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Creating dynamic web applications through the use of PHP
* The ability to use Flash in websites and PPT presentations
* Database design, Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server Databases, and Access Databases
* Deploying web sites and web applications on various server operating systems

The ideal candidate will possess a skill-set that includes 1) design capabilities (the ability to build creative presentations, and extend design concepts for utilization on the web), 2) production capabilities (the ability to build efficient sites and optimize images), 3) application development capabilities (the ability to build systems with expertise in database and server setup) and, 4) project management capabilities (the ability to fully understand a project and advise staff and clients on technical aspects).

I’m new to the Listserv and wanted to introduce myself. I’m a Center City-based interactive design guru with 10+ years experience in designing (and programming) award-winning websites. Search Engine Marketing/Google Adwords Expert

As a new breed of marketing agency, we provide a full suite of integrated marketing solutions, to bridge the gap between traditional and digital media. We have partnered with a host of leading brand names, offering strategy, creative and technical services.

We are looking to add a Search Marketing Specialist to our growing team. This position will support the Online Marketing Manager, and will manage search marketing accounts for a variety of agency clients. The Search Marketing Specialist is responsible for optimizing paid search accounts and identifying new areas of opportunity. In addition, the Search Marketing Specialist will assist with other online marketing initiatives as needed.

Key areas of Responsibilities
• Daily management of client paid search marketing campaigns utilizing Google AdWords, Yahoo Sponsored Search and MSN Ad Center.
• This includes but is not limited to: keyword research, bid management, ad copy writing and testing, match type testing, and account structure management.
• Track campaign performance daily, weekly and monthly. Run monthly reports for clients and write analysis and recommendations.
• Make recommendations for landing page tests and assist in the set up of a/b split and multivariate tests.
• Keep the greater team up to date on changes, advancements and new opportunities in the search marketing space.
• Assist with other online marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or related field
• 2-4 years of job experience, paid search marketing experience required
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at one time and work under tight deadlines
• Must possess a strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be highly organized and work well in a team environment
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word and Outlook
• Google AdWords Certified Professional and Google Analytics experience a plus
• Basic HTML and Photoshop knowledge a plus
