Newsworks, Assistant Web Producer
A fulltime position to work on WHYY’s soon-to-be launched hyper-local news service, for an individual with a minimum of two years experience producing and maintaining online content across multiple platforms, inlcuding websites, newsletters, social media and mobile platforms. In order to be successful in this position, an individual should possess a proficiency in Standard HTML editors such as Dreamweaver; Photoshop, Flash and Final Cut Pro; Standard compliant HTML and CSS; DHTML; Javascript; and various content management systems. This position also requires someone who can work effectively as part of a team since the position will work closely with editors on the “marketing” of stories via placement on the site.
