PROJECT DESCRIPTION*

This SOW is for a web/mobile design expert to help bring our web applications to the next level. The successful candidate will have experience understanding client side UI technologies (Flash, JS, AJAX) as well as iOS design elements while being able to create highly usable and visually cutting edge web/mobile interfaces. A digital portfolio of work is essential in gauging past work experience and is required.

WORK LOCATION/HOURS

From our office in the Collegeville, PA area. This is a 40 hour per week position and hours are flexible between 7:30-5:30

TIMEFRAME*

The assignment for this statement of work is approximately from February through the end of the year.

DELIVERABLES

Development
The designer will provide direction to the developers throughout this stage providing direction based upon the specific change requirements and business needs, while adhering to the project schedule.

Testing
The designer will support the testing of the changes to the system by developing test scripts with the help of the business users. These test scripts will trace back to each individual requirement in the requirements document or specific support needs. These test scripts will be developed in eDoc and will be reviewed and approved through the eDoc workflow process.

Implementation
The designer will oversee moving of the changes to the system successfully into production. He/she will insure all necessary documentation is approved and closed out in eDoc and the EPM system.

Instructor or Assistant Professor of multimedia journalism and communication

Cabrini College invites applications for a full-time instructor or assistant professor position in the Department of Communication in the areas of multimedia journalism and digital communication, beginning Fall 2012.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate journalism and communication with a focus on digital media production. The candidate should show evidence of leadership in multimedia journalism and communication and will be expected to assist the department in expanding its well-established multimedia curriculum.

The distinctive feature of the department is a commitment to journalism and communication for the common good.
