IT Manager – Grand Opera House

The IT Manager’s role is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network and individual workstations. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. The IT Manager will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required. The IT Manager will also troubleshoot network and individual workstation performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the phone system, provide direction and support for all internal or external Multi-Media projects and equipment. The IT Manager will report to the Director of Marketing.

Web + FTP Hosting/IT Technician needed

Individual FTP transfer can be up to 3 gigs. Monthly traffic is estimated at 60gigs.

Web Developer

We’re a busy firm with websites, microsites, content management systems, custom Facebook pages, and HTML email campaign projects coming in left and right. Not to mention ongoing site maintenance for current clients. We’ve gotta get some help around here! We’re ultimately looking for a full time in-house developer, but are open to trying freelance/part-time during the initial stage.

And above all else, you must be a pioneer. We are looking for someone who is interested and invested in the latest technology. Someone who enjoys learning, researching, and testing new techniques, technologies, and languages, and then can report their findings to the team and apply them in our latest site.

Responsibilities:
• Hand code HTML/DHTML/XHTML/CSS pages
• Write object oriented Javascript/AJAX (Either JQuery or Prototype)
• Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic design into CSS/HTML/XHTML pages
• Work with design team and Project Managers to build and refine graphic design for websites
• Ability to make everything work in ALL browsers (yes… even IE6..)

Qualifications:
• 3 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• 2 years minimum web programming experience (PHP, ASP.net or JSP desired)
• Experience in Content Management Systems a MUST (ExpressionEngine and/or Drupal preferred)
• Agency experience desired
• Self-starter with strong self-management skills
• Understanding of technical and functional design requirements
• Must have strong skills in Photoshop, Fireworks, or equivalent application(s)
• Experience creating 508 compliant sites is desired
• Familiarity with Facebook’s current FBML capabilities & app development experience a plus
• Must love dogs. Or at least the one that’s in the studio with us every day.

Full Time Drupal/PHP Developer Position

We currently are in transition to an all-Drupal platform and need a developer to focus primarily on Drupal front-end work. Our existing IT team focuses primarily on infrastructure, while the new team member would work with the Marketing team to turn designs into functional Drupal Web sites.
