IT Manager – Grand Opera House
The IT Manager’s role is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network and individual workstations. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. The IT Manager will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required. The IT Manager will also troubleshoot network and individual workstation performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the phone system, provide direction and support for all internal or external Multi-Media projects and equipment. The IT Manager will report to the Director of Marketing.

The Grand Opera House, or simply The Grand, is a beautifully restored, 1200-seat opera house located within the business district of downtown Wilmington. A multidisciplinary presenter of national and international touring artists, The Grand offers more than 75 performances of its own each year, and annually hosts more than 200 total event nights with tenant organizations and renters. Utilizing the opulent Victorian opera house venue and an additional 300-seat proscenium theater within the same complex, The Grand has, in recent years, diversified its programming and community partnerships in an aggressive expansion strategy that mirrors ambitious efforts by local business and government to further revitalize the downtown.
